About the film-makers

Gavin Hoffman and Eoin Coakley made this film as their final graduate project for the animation degree in Ballyfermot College of Further Education, Dublin, Ireland. We wanted to create a piece that showcased our skills. We have previously worked together on "Phoenix, Medium Rare", our 3rd year project, which won best student animation at the RSA awards in 2013 and has been nominated for 5 more awards.  It can be viewed here:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4SEvNyjykQ

Gavin focused mainly on the production and post production side of the project: modelling,  rigging, texturing, lighting, compositing, sound and special effects.  He also did all the previs and most of the storyboarding.  He has a HND in computer games design and a BA hons in animation and has work as an 3d architectural visualiser since 1999.  Complicit is the 3rd animated short he has worked on.  He is a videographer in his free time and has created several live action shorts.  Gavin currently works in the animation and VFX industry.  Learn more about what Gavin is up to here:  http://www.gavinhoffman.blogspot.ie/

Eoin's main focus was on the character animation.
